New Hobby for my family

My dear friend Shane has introduced my family to a new hobby that will get us out and about working together as a group and today we done our first outing. It was a beautiful day.
What is our new Hobby you ask??

GEOCACHING check out link below!

We looked in 11 places today and found 10 treasures and believe now that we came home we believe we know where the 11th is.

The kids had a blast and there is more weather permitting that we plan to find tomorrow.

Below are some photos of the ones we found today.

Tyler Tanner and my friends Daughter Savannah This one was found in a tree hole 6 feet high in our local cemetery

Tanner with his find at a memorial site of 2 brothers and 2 sisters that married and traveled from Kentucky. Found under a rock to the side of memorial

Tyler and My friend Candiss this was found in the middle of 2 tree limbs behind our local walmart

Tanner and Tyler found this one in a tree stump out by the softball diamonds

Tyler Tristina Tanner Savannah and Autumn on their very first find by our local elementary near the watershed project I actually found this one myself but let them take the glory of the photo!!

The courthouse tree this was easy all we needed was a photo of the kids or whomever with the tree in the backgroundTristina found this on the bridge near a day care center

The boys found this medicine bottle cache near one of our local nursing homes.

This one is the best....Poor little Autumn she ran her lil heart out all day. WE got to this one and all got out and set out hunting. My daughter lifted Autumn up so she could look in a tree hole and low and behold there was our treasure . She starts dancing around saying "OH YEAH Autumn found it oh yeah Autumn found it" was just so cute.

Not everyday you see a kid dancing around in a cemetery!!!

We had a really great time. Some of our finds there were little treasures so each kid came home with a treasure but the only way they could take a treasure was to leave a treasure. So we placed a quarter and some wheat pennies and some shells. Hubby even went on a couple with us!

I'm hoping to be able to log 1 or 2 of these every so often. Sorry for so many photos right now but it was just so fun! Check it out maybe you would like to do something like this!

Looks like so much fun! I tagged along on some geocaching missions several years ago, and it was a blast. Such a great way for your family to spend time together!
