Well ok so last night my niece calls and ask me if I knew what the day was and I of course said yes silly its ur birthday. and that I had left her a message on her myspace.
She proceeds to tell me of her days activities and I was like well sounds like you have had a good day. she then says your not gonna believe what granny did and she tells me about my mother giving her a box full of pennies. Now my sons birthday was on Dec 31 and he got 5 bucks from my mom.....come to find out those pennies equaled 49 bucks but apparently mom thought there was 50. So anyway I didn't say anything to my niece about the money I was like kool. blah blah
I called my mother and asked her to ask my niece not to say anything to anyone else about the money because someones feelings would end up hurt. All the other grandkids get 5 bucks . mom tells me that she had been saving that money since my niece was 3. well that dont matter shes not saving for the others so why should this one niece be the only one to get it. Maybe its petty BUT to me its not. I feel like what one gets all the others should too. I dare not tell my brother about it because his kids dont get but 5 either. anywho my mom got upset and all but I dont care. My niece has always gotten treated better then the others and I am tired of it. This isn't the first time shes slipped up and said Granny got her this or that. The other times I have just blown it off but this time I wasn't going to. Beings it was just 5 days ago at the time it was my sons birthday.
well enough of my rant!
