No Im not in Kansas Toto!!!

Well with the recent out break of storms I havent blown away! A few miles away a tornado touched down. I drove through yesterday on my way to the dentist to get my choppers going. yeah Im finally getting teeth!!! I will have my new smile in about 3 weeks.
Today well in a few minutes I am heading out to the orthpedic dr over my knee that I had surgery on last year. its giving me fits again. Imagine that me having health problems. haha
Anyway back to the tornado.......we took cover the other night because of it. The kids freak when it comes to storms. yikes.
The place where the tornado struck is hardly no more. There was pieces of siding in trees and wrapped around. Roofs off - windows busted-houses leveled-just mass destruction!!!

I also haven't wrote since my step dads niece was killed was a horrible accident. Below is a copy of our newspapers article about the incident......

As dawn broke on Monday, the tragic scene from the night before was gone, except for some deep rubber marks left on the pavement.
The morning shed new light, also, onto the events surrounding Sunday’s late evening crash when a car collided with a semi tractor-trailer with a payload of hogs.
According to an Indiana State Police (ISP) press release, David Z. Filler, 26, and Heather R. (Fisse) Gibbs, 23, both of Greensburg were killed when Filler’s silver 2008 Dodge Charger slammed into the semi causing both to topple. The Charger was crushed underneath the weight of the trailer. The ISP initially reported the vehicle was a gray BMW but with the condition of the car, it was hard to determine the make and model at the scene.
The ISP stated just before 10 p.m. Filler was driving the Charger southbound on North Carver Street. As he approached the intersection of the State Road 3 bypass, he failed to yield. He crossed the southbound lanes and bolted into the northbound lane as the 2004 Mack semi tractor-trailer was headed up the highway. The driver of the semi, Joel C. Griffin, 33, of Laurel, tried to swerve to avoid the collision, but the car nicked the front of the truck. The car went spinning, according to the ISP, and the semi overturned as it swerved. The car was forced under the trailer as it tumbled to the ground. The weight of the trailer and hogs within crushed down upon the Dodge as it flattened the vehicle. Both came to rest in the ditch in front of Kova Fertilizer.
Filler and Gibbs were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, Griffin, and his 11-year-old daughter were taken to Decatur County Memorial Hospital. They were treated for minor injuries and released shortly after arrival.
The ISP reported most of the hogs did not survive the crash and many more were destroyed at the scene. Approximately one to two dozen hogs survived, but that could not be confirmed officially.
State Road 3 northbound was closed for most of the night as the scene was cleared.
ISP Trooper Matt Haviland is heading up the open investigation. Attempts to reach the ISP for official comment were unsuccessful. However, according to an anonymous source, Filler and Gibbs had been at a cook-out in the North Carver Street area before the incident. Alcohol, which Filler had brought with him, likely played a factor, the source noted. However, it was not officially confirmed by the ISP. Neither Haviland or ISP Versailles Post Public Information Officer Sgt. Noel Houze could be reached for comment. Messages were left for both.
Toxicology tests on the driver are standard in crash cases, however, the results could take one to six weeks to return.
The ISP was assisted on the scene by the Greensburg Police Department, Greensburg Fire Department, Decatur County Sheriff’s Department, the Letts Volunteer Department, Decatur County EMS and the Decatur County Coroner’s Office.

Sad just plain sad.
well I have to get ready to leave so Im not late.
