Thought I would share

This is my good bye letter to my cigarettes dated July 23rd 2007

Dear Cigarettes,

I am writing this letter to you
to say goodbye. Today is the
last time I will ever smoke you.
You have been a really good friend
one friend I could always count
on when I needed one. You have
been by my side through a lot
of tough time. Joy and sadness
you have been there.
you have also done some things
to me that I do not like. You
have caused me trouble breathing.
I constantly have bronchitis becasue
of you. I cough and hack nasty phlem
because of what you have
done to me. My fingers are yellow
and I literally stink like an ashtray.
NO more Im DONE You have
controlled me long enough it is
time I take control. So I say
ADIOS!!! Im sure there will
be times when I will miss you
but you wont win.
Goodbye SMOKEY JOES!!!!

Your Ex Friend
Tabatha

Just wanted to share with all I pulled it out today to reflect and thought I should post it.
have a great night!

Very cool. I never did write an actual letter, though I did do the reasons to quit thing that I've reflected on sometimes. Your letter rocks and captures the way I felt right about quit time, too.

The reason in the post I said Goodbye smokey joes was in honor of my father in law who passed away in 2002. That is what he would call cigs were smokey joes and he would call my mother in law Smokey Joe frazier. He was just silly. I so miss him!!!
So if hes up there lookin down on me I am sure he got a "kick" out of my putting that in my letter.

Just another had to share moments ;-)
